Run, don’t walk to get your tickets!

Just inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Ventures featuring co-founders Bob Bogle and Don Wilson perform at the BAC.

The Ventures’ “Walk, Don’t Run” went to number 2 on Billboard's Singles Chart in 1960, and is one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s top 500 hits of all time.

Since the band’s spectacular beginning, The Ventures went on to define Instrumental Rock with high energy hits like “Hawaii Five-O,” “Secret Agent Man” and “Wipeout.” Bogle on lead and bass guitar and Wilson on rhythm guitar started the band in 1958. They were later joined by the late Mel Taylor (who’s son Leon Taylor took his place in the band in 1996), Gerry McGee, Leon Taylor and Bob Spalding.

More than 49 years later -- with record sales approaching 100 million, 14 songs that hit the Singles Charts and 37 LPs that hit the Album Charts, their lineup remains solid and their style and sound are as pure and powerful as ever.
