Celebration (Baltimore) are returning to Chicago with a new release, again produced by Tv on the Radio member Dave Sitek. (yeah yeah yeah's, liars...) The band is made up of a female vocalist with an androgynous tone and great range, a talented multi-tasking multi-instrumentalist, and a drummer. Their live shows are highly recommended. They are touring with Kill me Tomorrow from San Diego.

Aleks and the Drummer open. They are a local Chicago duo that has been getting alot of attention for their singular sound. Beautiful melodies (played on a vintage farfisa organ) that hint of old Eastern European influence race with thunderous drums and dance beats. With the final layer of Aleks' soaring vocals, the combined live sound is surprisingly intense for the minimal setup.
